Big spenders can earn top-tier Hilton Diamond status by spending $40,000 annually on the Surpass card. Diamond is the highest level of status and includes all Gold benefits, plus executive lounge access and suite upgrades at the hotel's discretion. In other words, if you're looking for status, perks and free nights, don't want to shell out a lot for an annual fee, and are fine with staying exclusively at the Hilton brand, it's hard to beat Surpass.
